Donnie Blais (Chef/Owner)
A music impresario, nightclub owner and overall mover and shaker in the music industry, Donnie always dreamed of owning a Mexican restaurant. That dream came true for him in the late nineties when he opened Rancho Relaxo on College St. in downtown Toronto. Here he would hone his culinary skills and live out his chef/restaurateur reverie.
It was through Rancho that his first opportunity to cater a music video launched him into the film catering industry. Intrigued by this specialized catering business, he quickly found himself on film and video sets all over the Toronto area.
Many years later, Rancho Relaxo Location Catering is a favourite among film industry crews and famous for the fresh flavour filled meals we provide.

 

Les Garant (Chef de Cuisine)
Les started in food service managing a small vegetarian restaurant at York University. He would then travel through many kitchens including the McMicheal Art Collection Restaurant and Choice Children's Catering. He changed his focus in the nineties when he became the manager of The Big Carrot Vegetarian Deli. This is where he developed his knowledge of natural and organic foods and specifically vegetarian cuisine. Radio and television appearances helped to popularize Les throughout the vegetarian/natural foods community. He joining Rancho Relaxo has brought new life to the menu with his love of Thai and Asian foods as well as his training in French cuisine
